Floating Pool Gothenburg

The Frihamnen area at Hisingen, just across the river from the city centre, is still characterized by the old ship building industry. In the midst of old containers and cranes a whole new area is emerging. Since August 2015 the floating pool has been implemented in tha habour basin.

Our engineers together with Raumlabor (Berlin),  created this floating pool in the Frihman region of Gothenburg. This pool is working with a biological water treatment which is housed in traditional containers to keep the historical impression of the harbor region.The whole design is completely controlled by PLC with remote access via DANA. Despite of the huge frequency off daily bathers the biological water serves always a very good water quality up to now.
